That’s definitely not true, small companies can gain a lot by having their business on the internet. A small local business can greatly increase the amount of visitors and customers by having a website and advertising online. Most people now a days search for business online using their computer or web accessible phones. Using phone books/yellow pages, newspaper and other common offline advertising methods just don’t work as well anymore and the only way that a small local business can compete with the bigger companies is by being up to date – this means having an online presence.
